The double room offered a good size, with a very comfortable bed and a nice balcony to relax. Breakfast had a decent spread including hot options like bacon and eggs, along with fruits and pastries.
The parking situation is a hassle, with limited spots forcing guests to park down the street. Pillows were too thin, and the bathroom lacked decent exhaust which led to an unpleasant odor. The shower was narrow and a bit awkward to navigate, and wi-fi was unreliable, making it hard to stay connected.

I had a delightful stay at Hotel Petra. The room offered a good size with comfortable beds, perfect after a long day exploring the Black Forest trails. Breakfast stood out with an ample variety, including both hot options like bacon and eggs and plenty of fruits and pastries. The staff, particularly Robert, always made me feel welcomed and assisted with any requests I had. It felt homey and accommodating. Having free transport passes was a bonus, making exploring easier. On the downside, parking was a bit tricky at times, requiring me to park further down the street. some road noise from outside disturbed the peace occasionally, especially at night. These factors, while noticeable, didn’t overshadow the enjoyable experience I had at the hotel. I'd recommend it to others seeking a cozy stay in the area.

The complementary soft drinks in the room were a delightful touch that made for a cozy stay.
The pillows were not particularly comfortable, which detracted from the overall sleep quality despite the great mattresses.

Great stay with amazing views!
I had a super relaxing 3 nights here. The staff were really chill and friendly—made my dog feel at home too! The balcony view was top-notch and perfect for morning coffee. Breakfast was awesome, especially the fresh fruit. Just wished the Wi-Fi was more reliable because it got a bit spotty at times.

Comfortable stay with great views of the Schwarzwald from my balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I appreciated the gluten-free breakfast options. parking was inconvenient, and the Wi-Fi tended to drop frequently during my visit.
